Happy New Year! 2015 just feels like it's going to be a good year, doesn't it?
The last weeks of 2014 certainly kept me busy, I was knitting all the way up to the 25th and happily completed my last deliveries on December 23rd. Now that all the recipients have opened up their knitted things I'm happy to reveal them here! (Of course, if you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you've already seen them... maybe that should have been my resolution, to take better care of this poor site!).
Here's the Burton Bear Cowl which was a pattern I found on Ravelry by accident, months after a family member requested the very thing! I thought it must be fate, and got straight to work on a mother-daughter set.
Another custom request I received was for a pair of lookalike Converse slippers. There were a number of patterns available on Ravelry (mostly crochet) but wasn't completely excited about any of them so I just winged it and was very pleased with the end result.
Everything custom!! Another request from a former colleague (now, friend) for her daughters - had to wing this one as well, and I heard they were thrilled with the end results - woohoo!
Some cashmere socks gifted to my lovely aunt...
Here's a cowl I made for my godmother, it's the "Darkside Cowl" available on Ravelry here.
A great challenge I received was to make puppets for the first time - here they are!
Patterns were found on Ravelry: the duck, dragon, and dog.
I think that's all of them! Happy Holidays everyone... and if you see something you like don't be shy to contact me for your very own!
